DISCLAIMERS

  • Thank you for visiting our website. Due to a recent uptick in people using a specific app in China we've noticed increased inquiries from individuals who may be confused about our services. Sexual harassment, unsolicited advances, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Engaging in such actions will result in immediate legal action.
  • This professional bodywork practice is committed to providing Women’s Wellness modalities and Trauma-informed treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. We do not provide sexual services. We also understand the harmful stereotypes that exist for women in the bodywork industry. We want to reassure you that our business is a legitimate practice. We maintain a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all our clients and our colleagues as our practice is in a shared space.
  • We are not Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Mental Health Therapy providers, nor do we provide mental health talk therapy. We are a Trauma-Informed Women’s Wellness Center. We would be happy to connect you with skilled mental health professionals right here in our shared space, upon request.

Hygiene Guidelines for a Comfortable Massage Experience

At Integrative Bodywork Chicago, we strive to provide all our clients with the most relaxing, comfortable, and clean environment. To ensure everyone has the best experience, we ask that you come to your appointment clean. Scents such as essential oils are never used unless requested, nor is perfume. Your therapist arrives clean and with no scent on, such as perfume.

Why It Matters: For Your Comfort: A clean, fresh environment enhances relaxation and promotes the best massage experience. For Others' Comfort: Hygiene affects not only your experience but also that of others who follow. Body odor lingers in the treatment room, potentially causing discomfort for the next client. Professionalism: A hygienic atmosphere helps maintain the professional standards we take pride in. A Few Tips for a More Enjoyable Session: Please consider showering or using deodorant before your session, especially on warm days or after a workout. If you're unsure about your body odor, it's helpful to wear clothing that breathes well or even bring a change of clothes if necessary. Bacteria sometimes cause strong underarm odors; your therapist can help you address that. Thank you for helping us maintain our standards of cleanliness and comfort. We look forward to your next visit!
